We provide safe shelters and support to men, women and children
Resurrection House is a not for profit agency founded in 1982 in response to a need for housing the homeless. After much discussion with Suffolk County Department of Social Services, it was decided that the greatest need was for a shelter that would house women and children and intact
Today Resurrection House continues to provide emergency shelter to individuals in need and also provides low-income transitional housing, case management, informal aftercare services, food pantry and other services that can enable our families to be self-sufficient and independent.
Your support allows us to provide much needed services to our families so they are better able to become self-sufficient and independent
Join our efforts by volunteering! We are always looking for extra hands
The mission of Resurrection House is to provide a safe, nurturing and empowering environment for our residents so that they may achieve self-sufficiency and permanent housing.
